FEELING OF BEING CENTERED IN YOURSELF

Have you noticed that it is so easy to get stuck in survival energy and forget how the calmness and stability feel within yourself. And this cycle can go for years..
I would invite you to write it down, the sensations of your body, how do you feel when your nervous system feels calm and relaxed.
You can do it after relaxing activity such as massage or yin yoga, a long comfy weekend at home.
It will be a great reminder for your nervous system in busy times how the coming home back to your body feels authentically for you and also it will gradually train your nervous system to seek for pleasure, ease and safety.

Sometimes if we struggle to sense these things at present moment, we can try to remember some moment from our past, maybe the moment when you felt happy, or free or maybe safe and held. Or maybe you had a nice experience while listening to music or watching movie or a sunset. Start there. No perfection, no doing it right, One small memory, one ray of sunshine.

Here some questions to help you if you feel the need for some guidance (don't do them if they feel intrusive) or you can just enjoy the moment, the memory. It is more than enough.

How does it feel inside your body when you are centered inside you and are present with yourself?

How does your legs feel? Are they heavy, light or wobbly?

Is your pelvis tight, relaxed, alive or shallow?

Can you feel your belly or pelvic floor?

What about your breath? Where does it go? Shoulders, limbs, pelvis, fingers, feet, shins?

What about your eyes and jaw? How do they feel when you are home inside yourself, your body?

With love,

Juste
